Day 1: the heart of Barcelona

Barcelona is known all over the world for Las Ramblas, the central boulevard which is alive 24 hours a day and offers tourists a taste of the atmosphere in Barcelona. Close by, you will find the superb covered market La Boqueria, which will delight your tastebuds and your curiosity. Wend your way through the city towards the sea front, then continue your tour to the historic centre of Barcelona, which extends around the Gothic quarter and the Plaça de Santa Maria up to the Parc de la Ciutadella. Picasso fans can also make the most of the trip by visiting the museum dedicated to the world-renowned artist.

Day 2: Gaudi’s city

The architect Gaudi shaped the city and created the iconic style for which it is known. You can soak up the architectural delights of the city on your travels around the city to Plaça de Catalunya and the Passeig de Gràcia. In the heart of the Eixample district you can admire the Casa Batlló and the Casa Milà, two of Gaudi’s flagship works. Take the opportunity to do a spot of shopping in the impressive shops on offer. In the afternoon, we suggest a trip to the Sagrada Familia, an architectural masterpiece that should not be missed. Round off your day with a visit to the Parc Güell which will give a nice change of scenery.

Day 3: Relaxation at the beach

To end your 3 day trip surrounded by beauty, make the most of the beach which stretches across the city and take the chance to relax. Strolls along the port and the charming restaurant terraces on the sea front are sure to re-energise you after your packed trip, ready to return to the real world.
