1st day: Discovering the Castle

Buda Castle Hill is a must-see for local history; it’s where the first inhabitants of Budapest came to live. From this headland overlooking the Danube, you’ll be able to enjoy an unobstructed view of the entire city. You can also go for a walk down Úri Street and Kapisztrán square.

2nd day: Visits and relaxtion

Another major symbol of Budapest is the Parliament, situated on the banks of the Danube. Its sublime architecture will amaze you. From Parliament you can explore the easily accessible Great Market Hall before taking a relaxing dip in the mythical baths of Budapest. Don’t miss out on a visit to the nearby Castle of Vajdahunyad, which will take you into a fairy tale world. After a long, busy day, enjoy a goulash at one of the many restaurants in the city centre.

3rd day: Shopping and a stroll

To end your stay in Budapest, go for a long stroll along the banks of the Danube. Admire the numerous and splendid bridges that cross the river. Amidst the beautiful things to see in the city, you can enjoy some shopping in the most commercial areas such as Váci utca, the main shopping and pedestrian street of Budapest.
